Lesser Programming Assignment I - Messing with C

This is really several small programs intended to quickly bring you up to speed with C programming, bitwise operations, and pointers. You should do this work in your "LP/Prog1" folder on SMC.

Due Date: January 18, 2019

  1. Programming Exercise 1-3 on Page 13 of K and R
  2. Programming Exercises 2-6 through 2-8. Put these functions in one program and write a small main program which tests each one. You should print the function return values in hex.
  3. Exercise 5-3. By pointer version, use only pointer arithmetic. Also, write a main function to test your version of strcat.
